A picture of something you loveI love strawberries - can't wait for strawberry season! I've only known one other person that loves fresh strawberries as much as I - my father-in-law. He always described fresh strawberries as "better than sex." That's what I call crazy over strawberries!
Each strawberry season when I was eatting my first bowl of fresh berries I would call my father-in-law just to gloat that my berries were in-season, and his weren't yet.
I'd say, "Guess what I'm doing? I'm eatting fresh strawberries!"
He'd say, "It's rude to be an a**," and hang up!
Last year was the first strawberry season after his death, and I missed our yearly "strawberry ritual." But ...... after finishing my first bowl of fresh berries that season we had a thunderstorm. I told my husband that was his Dad calling me an a**!
It makes me smile just thinking about it now.
